| This paper presents a survey of observability and observers of nonlinear systems. The background, conclusion and unsolved problems for the different definitions of observability are described. The conclusions regarding the observability of Morse-smale systems are also introduced. Five methods of designing observers for nonlinear systems, including assumptions, algorithms and demerits are discussed, respectively. |
