A discrete time l1 control design problem involving a constraint on H2 performance is formulated and an upper approximation method for the solution of this infinite dimensional optunization problem is introduced. Suboptimal solutions of the problem can be obtained by solving a sequence of truncated problems.The continuity property of the optimal value with respect to changes in the H2 constraint is studied. |
