The design process is recounted in this paper that the active character of the rotor system surported by active magnetic bearings (AMBs) is adjusted with the root locus in classical control theory. One of the key cases of unstability for the bearing-rotor system is that there is a right pole in complex plane. And using the method can not only solve the problems in the design process on the system stability,but also concern the provement for the picture adjustment method in classical control theory. |
