| At the 80th birthday anniversary of Prof. Chao Chih Kwan，the paper reviews his glorious life：from his patriotic youth，when he worried about the destiny of the Chinese people，till his latest days when he was seriously ill and still bending himself on the cause of control and systems science and exerting himself to the utmost.A number of vivid facts were revealed to demonstrate his career of breaking through brambles and thorns and working his hearat out for exploring and developing the control theory and its applications in China.Meanwhile，the paper also exhibites the proceeding history of the control in China from sprouting，rooting to growing stronger and stronger. |
