A new robust fuzzy-PID controller for a class of typical systems with large time-varying time delay is developed. Using this controller, the robust stability of the closed-loop system is guaranteed for the unmatched parameters of the controlled plant on a large scale. And the capability of the system is optimized. The application results of this controller in a \{paper-making\} process have shown to be very good. |
