| In digital control, digital signal processing and computer simulation of control systems, bilinear transformation is used to transform a transfer function from the s-plane to the z-plane, or vice versa. Especially on the continues design of the digital control system, the experimental work by Avner Ben-zwi and Meir preiszter [4] showed that the bilinear z-transformation is the best method of the various discrete methods to transform an analog controller to a digital controller. However, the computational task of bilinear transformation is tedious when the order of the transfer function is greater than two. In this paper a recursive algorithm for the bilinear transformation and a computer aided transform program based on this recursive algorithm are given. |
