The main problem existing in the application of the pole-assignment self-tuning regulator is how to choose the proper poles of the closed-loop system. To tackle this problem an compound adaptive control system is developed in this paper which contains the on-line determination of the optimal poles of the system on the basis of the criterion minimization and thus the system have both the parameter adaptive property and the best dynamic characteristics. |
