In this paper, we present a method to determine the optimal furnace temperature distribution of a circular reheating furnace based on the heat conducting model of tubular steel blanks heated in the furnace under the composite optimizing the temperature of the blank at the exit of the furnace and minimzing the fuel consumption. Based on the furnace process model, we use the Generalized Minimum Variance Control Strategy to realize the optimal furnace distribution. In the end, we give the computer simulation result for the control strategy. |
