A class of continuous-time boundary value descriptor systems is described as Et(t)=Ax(t)+Bu(t), with the boundary condition Vox(0)+Vrx(T)=v. E is a singular matrix and u(t) is a function differentiable sufficiently many times. In this paper, we discuss the two notions of recursion, namely inward and outward boundary value processes, and give definitions and criteria of controllability and observability, associated with these processes. |
