| In this paper, we consider passivity, stability and optimality and the relationship between them of affine nonlinear control systems. First, we study relations between the passivity of nonlinear systems and one of their linear approximate systems in order to analyse stability. Then we show that for affine nonlinear systems passivity, stability and optimality are equivalent via feedback in some sense. Finally, we go further to discuss the systems with measured outputs. |
