| This paper concerns the control and coordination of concurrent asynchronous activities in discrete manufacturing systems. The system is modeled by controlled marked graph with external input places. The number of tokens in each external place is controlled to guarantee that the forbidden states will not occur. Logical behavior of the system is described by min algebra and one-step permissive control policy without redundancy is obtained. |
