In social psychology, the individual’s decision-making behavior may be affected by their own opinions, the opinion evolution may be also influenced by the observed decision-making behaviors of others. On the other hand, there exist both cooperative and competitive relationships among individuals. In this paper, a multidimensional opinion dynamics model of signed social networks with collective decision-making is established, which captures the co-evolution of group opinion and collective decision-making behavior in social networks with both cooperative and competitive relationships. In terms of the row-stochasticity of the influence matrix and the logic matrix, the sufficient conditions for the boundedness of multidimensional opinions and the sufficient and necessary conditions to ensure that the group adopts the same decision-making behavior are given. By applying our proposed opinion and collective decision-making model to analyze the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance, the foot in the door effect and the cognitive coordination in social psychology.
